Jurassic Park

Yesterday while watching Jurassic Park with a friend, we decided that my cat looks like one of the velociraptors.

Toilet water has a required taste.

Backside Saturday

Today was a lazy Saturday and not too much happen, Kitty slept for most of the day and I watched chick flicks. So I thought it would be a good time to highlight her backside. All of her hair loss started on her head and traveled down her spine. Fast forward to today and this is what she looks like.

I swear that we didn't shave her, that's just is how alopecia works!

My brother Sam folding her ears back. I get the feeling that she didn't like that.

Random Coldfront in May

Today there was a ubber random cold front ( it's May and in Texas?) that came in and brought the temperatures down to the 50s! Poor Kitty wanted to go outside, but as soon as we opened to door she did her strange shiver/twitching, put her ears down and walked away. It was a good day for a sweater and to drink everyone's hot chocolate when they weren't looking.

Why She Looks Odd

This is a blog for my very odd and unique cat, appropriately named Kitty. We got her about three years ago from the local pound in the spring time when all the cats were pretty much free (the shelter was a non-euthanize). She looked completely normal then with soft, fluffy, sand colored, kitten hair. After a year of having her she got a bold spot on the top of her head, we took her to the vet and they didn't know what it was, so the refurred us to a specacilist. Two months and $600 dollors later they said she was compeletly healthy and just had alopecia. Not soon after that she was attacked by something and the wound got infected Once again took her to the vet and they had to remove all the stomach muscles, explaining the belly pouch. I like to think of it either like a penguin's pouch that holds the egg or a Buddha's belly. I rub it for good luck.
